How hackers can harm your computer using usb drive?

USB devices are most common way used to transfer data from a computer.
But these USB devices can carry malwares to harm your computer and your private data.

One of the easiest way to install torjan or malware through USB device, is using U3 standard USB drives.

U3 system is a secondary partition included in USB drives made by SanDisk and Memorex.
U3 partition execute configured program automatically when USB device is inserted.
Hackers take advantage of this partition, they install malicious program in U3 partition
and whenever victim insert that USB in his computer, his computer get infected.

infected. It can also infect your USB keyboard and mouse.

This type of torjan is undetectable by every antivirus in world and there is no easy way to remove this torjan.
This torjan snoops the firmware update process of a USB device, reverse engineer the firmware, and then create a modified version of the firmware containing their malicious code.
These torjans have self replicating capabilities, it means if you will insert your USB drive in infected computer, your USB drive will get infected.

1. Disable autorun in your computer to protect yourself from infected USB drives.
